UV inkjet printing, Mirror aluminum plate

Variable size,Composite material: Black bamboo, Stainless steel,Other

Archival inkjet print, FineArt Baryta

Archival inkjet print,FineArt Baryta

Archival inkjet print,FineArt Baryta

UV inkjet printing,Acrylic wood frame lightbox

The natural code code is the decoding of the natural code, the dizzy afternoon is the starting point of this series. When I watched the natural scenery for a long time and felt dizzy continuously, no matter with the naked eye or through the lens, that moment no longer exists. I want to try to restore and preserve those complex memories through shooting and recreating these landscapes. Try to find the eternity that still flows through time and stories that are told over and over again.

Natural code, 2023, 50*50cm, UV-mirrored aluminium panel

"Nature Code Code" continues my exploration of image re-creation in recent years, that is, my observation and research on the component of "inspiration" in the process of creative behavior. I want to try to describe "inspiration" with "inspiration", and find a balance between "rational logic" and "intuitive Epiphany", as well as the shaping of image production on individual or collective aesthetics. Based on such creative ideas and working methods, taking an original photo as the material, no matter for color correction or flaw correction, the image is both a canvas and a brush. When it becomes a brush stroke as a medium, it seems to evolve into some kind of language. The image itself is a language, which may not be fully understood just like watching the real natural world. But I can try to approach and feel the mysteries of nature.

Irrigate, 2023, Variable size, Composite material: Black bamboo, Stainless steel, Other

"Irrigation" is a growing work, with a "tree trunk" as the prototype. From the opening day, I will come to the exhibition hall every day to add nutrients, water it, trim it, or transplant it until the closing day. This work will focus on "inspiration" and "growth", presenting the audience to the exhibition hall a creative process about improvisation and control.

The exhibition is based on the "Nature Code" at the entrance and goes up the stairs. The interior of the exhibition hall is composed of five parts, namely "Dizzy Afternoon", "Between Heaven and Earth", "Snow Country", "Home" and "Sun Island", and five "musical images" represented by time clues are used as a double-line crossover narrative, respectively, "Opening Song: Awake?" "Halftime Song: White Moon", "Sunset Song: Part One", "Sunset Song: Part Two", "Burning Song: Return".

As an artist who advocates the power of visual language, Wang is inclined to display the connections between people’s inner world and the outside world through images in a “conscious” or “unconscious” way. He is inspired by imagination, prediction and reconstruction, as well as observation, capture, and interception.
